GeekGirlCon is seeking a Merchandise Coordinator!

The Merchandise Coordinator works directly with the Associate Design Manager and is responsible for the manufacturing and sales of GeekGirlCon merchandise.

Duties include:

Negotiating with vendors and suppliers for procurement of inventory
Managing GeekGirlCon online stores (Etsy & Cafepress)
Handling customer orders
Providing regular communication to ensure GeekGirlCon brand standards and goals are being met
Organizing fundraising events and Craft Days

Requirements:

Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all deadlines
Strong initiative, ownership, and ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience in managing an online store
Must live in Seattle or surrounding areas and be available to attend Design Team meetings, as well as bimonthly staff meetings
