My new favorite bar: Unicorn
Stepping into this bar is seriously like falling down the rabbit hole and landing face-first into a crazy carnival decked out in bright stripes, zebra prints, chandeliers, and copious amounts of taxidermy. The decor is definitely an assault on the senses, in a good way.
Craving fair food? They’ve got it: food on a stick, deep fried snacks, elephant ears, crispy fried exploding twinkies… My fave of the night was the deep fried pickles. This is the kind of food you can only justify consuming when drunk; totes sodium overload, but it definitely hit the spot.
The service is great and the drinks are strong. I had a drink called “Unicorn Jizz” (a cocktail with Absolut Mango and Triple Sec) that appeared innocent at first sip, but totally snuck up on me after the second round.
